Chef Job Description
A yacht chef is a professionally trained culinary expert in charge of guest and crew meals, provisioning, and complete management of the Galley. A Chef is awarded for using top quality ingredients, where dishes with distinct flavors are prepared to a consistently high standard. Positions, and number of chefs in the galley depends on the yacht's size and range from Head Chef, Sous Chef, Crew Chef, Galley Hand to Pastry Chef. Superyacht guests attend and eat at high-end restaurants; therefore, expectations can be extremely high.
