Stew Job Description
A yacht Steward/Stewardess is an entry-level position and part of the interior team. A stew is responsible for maintaining the yacht's interior, making sure it is spotless. Daily tasks of a stew include general housekeeping and serving duties. This includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, detailing the interior, laundry and ironing, preparation of cocktails and drinks, meal service duties, turning down the guest cabins, maintaining bar and drink stock, flower care, table decorations, crew provisioning, and crew uniform stock and order.
